Deerns USA |
The American branche of Deerns is changing location. From now on the Deerns USA will be in the renovated and upcoming TAXI campus in Denver. The TAXI Campus is the former location of the Yellow Cab. Their existing office has been renovated and on their old parking lot a new building arose. The latter has been made suitable for multiple purposes; working as well as living. The entire TAXI Campus houses multiple creative companies, among which are advertising agencies, renowned architectural firms, artists and photography studios.
The TAXI
area is certainly an original spot to locate your office. It’s an edgy
development for living, working and eating. Developer Mickey Zeppelin felt
inspired after a trip to Amsterdam. The energy he experienced in the
redeveloped dock areas, was something he wanted to bring to Denver. And so he
did and Deerns will profit.
Deerns has
rented office space in the existing (renovated) office and has made some
sustainable improvements to the building as a whole. By using natural
ventilation and adding solar tubes, the climate of the building has been
greatly improved.
By choosing
this location, Deerns is yet again making a statement when it comes to revitalization
of existing buildings. After all, the Dutch office in Eindhoven is
located in a renovated industrial complex, previously owned by Philips.
